About Industrial Engineering

The aim of the Department of Industrial Engineering is to educate industrial engineers who can add value to the institutions and organizations they work in, who are capable of taking on managerial roles, and who possess the skills to analyze, synthesize, model, and solve decision problems. The program aims to develop individuals who can conduct original research, produce knowledge at a universal level and transfer it to industry, share their knowledge and experience with society and industry, contribute to the scientific and technological development of our country, succeed in practical applications, and embrace the general mission and vision of OSTİM Technical University.

The program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to optimize complex systems integrated with human elements, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and quality. From the first year, students are introduced to engineering and industrial engineering concepts through a curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning, allowing them to engage with their profession early in their education.
